Billboard nou pe Arthur Verona

Noul billboard al celor de la Cohn and Jansen le aduce un omagiu lui Cristian Nemescu si Andrei Toncu odata cu castigarea premiului Un Certain Regard la Cannes pentru "California Dreamin' (neterminat)".

Celor de la Cohn and Jansen li se alatura FWK, un crew de grafferi punkisti antifascisti care si-au tagat numele crew-ului la baza crucii...

Above put up some videos from his last year's travels, including this one from Bucharest featuring his roller piece from the roof top of the now demolished Ministry building from Calea Victoriei. One of his arrows is still hanging in the old center on Lipscani / Smardan street corner.

STENCILUL - a font inspired by the stencils in Bucharest

Mr František Štorm recently visited Bucharest on the invitation of the Czech Cultural Center. This is what Mr Štorm came up with on his return:

"This typeface is dedicated to all Romanian graphic designers. It takes inspiration from stencils in Bucharest during my visit in early March 2007. Go ahead with more stencils, they are better than most of commercial graphic design in your country now!"

This is probably the inspiration for the text on his specimen...
