Not sure how old this is or what's the story of the cigarettes brand (I only stole the picture from Silviu Visan's facebook) but the design is just marvellous!

Bucharest street parking structures

Like many others, I've been documenting these objects for a few years... Here is a previous post by Ionut, with some stunning models that are nicely categorized. The examples are countless and they are simply omnipresent in the streets of Bucharest these years, becoming a symbol of the current state of the city, with its totally annihilated public space... But that is another story and we are not here to talk about that. Some of these structures are so ingenious and even beautiful that I think they would really deserve a deeper study. I, for one, have used them as inspiration for a recent exhibition I had at Sabot Gallery in Cluj.
