The constant humming sound of the city, house walls that we pass by every day, the snatches of a conversation which we hear on the streets – fragments, that we are confronted with every day, but to wich we nevertheless pay hardly any attention. It is not the pompous and spectacular view on the city, that forms our relation to it, it is the seemingly incidental and fragmentary occurence. The web page »Bucharest - views on a moody city« sets in at this point, in order to measure the romanian metropolis in field recordings, photographies and texts about the young cultural scenes. What's being generated is a sketchy portrait of Bucharest, perceived with the eyes and the ears of two strangers.
